From his military service in the Royal Engineers, to his courageous personal battles, to his passion for giving back such as raising £15,000 for dog rescue his 1,047-mile hike around the Welsh coastal path while carrying a 50lb rucksack on his back, he has consistently proven that he doesn’t just face challenges… he conquers them not just for himself, but for others.

What instantly caught our attention, was Carl’s upcoming challenge of summiting Pen y Fan 27 consecutive times while carrying a 50lb rucksack to raise much needed financial support for the hospice that looked after his Nan in Her final days.
Not only is this a monumental physical and mental test, but it also holds a symbolic connection to the Nite brand in the fact that Pen y Fan is the iconic peak that challenges the best of the best from elite military forces to seasoned adventurers and has become a rite of passage for many who live life on the edge.
